1984

Adapted by Robert Owens, Wilton E. Hall, Jr., and William A. Miles, Jr.

Directed by John Lyttle and Brenna Heaton

This drama is adapted from the novel by George Orwell. 1984 depicts the horrors of humankind’s fate in a society where Big Brother is always watching- where everything that is not prohibited is compulsory. It is a dystopian world where the Ministry of Truth decides what is truth.

Audition Dates:

Sunday, February 8, 6:00 PM at the Mary Godfrey Playhouse (2706 E. Pershing Blvd., Cheyenne, WY)

Monday, February 9, 6:00 PM at the Laramie County Library Cottonwood Room (2200 Pioneer Ave., Cheyenne, WY)

Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. Scripts may be checked out at the Mary Godfrey Playhouse (2706 E. Pershing Blvd., Cheyenne, WY). Roles for teenage girls are for ages 16+.

Performances are March 27-29, April 3-5 and April 9-12. A student matinee will be at 1 PM on April 2nd.
